Artist Biography

Barcelona based multimedia artist José Antonio Hernández-Díez studied at el Centro de Formación Cinematográfica de Caracas. Solo exhibitions of his work have been presented internationally in Barcelona, Madrid, Caracas, Glasgow, Sao Paulo, Santa Fe, and New York. His work has been exhibited at the 50th Venice Bienale, Venice, Italy, le Palais de Tokio, Paris, France, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA, the Witte de With Contemporary Art Centre, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, la Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Paris, France, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Fort Worth, TX, the Helsinki City Art Museum, Helsinki, Finland, MOCA, Museum of Contemporary Arts, Miami, FL, and la Galería de Arte Nacional, Caracas, Venezuela.
